But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

In our deepest trials, we are never alone. Acts 7:55 provides a breathtaking glimpse into heaven during the final moments of Stephen, the first Christian martyr. He saw Jesus standing.

When the world casts you out, heaven stands up for you. No matter what opposition you face today, remain steadfast. Your Savior sees you, advocates for you, and stands ready to welcome you home.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the powerful testimony of Stephen and the beautiful truth of Acts 7:55. Lord, when the pressures of this world feel overwhelming, fix our eyes on the open heavens. Help us to see Jesus standing at Your right hand, ready to advocate for us and comfort us. Give us the courage to speak Your truth boldly and live faithfully until our final breath. We rest in the glorious assurance that Jesus stands ready to welcome us into Your eternal kingdom. In His holy name, we pray. Amen.
