There were those in the churches who had remained true to Christ’s Word and standards. God knows them and promises that they will rule with Him over the nations (Revelation 2:26). “Satan’s so-called deep secrets” may refer to the false teaching that claims to possess special knowledge that is necessary for spiritual salvation. One brand of this deceptive philosophy says that in order to fully experience God’s grace and salvation and to defeat Satan, a person must enter the devils’ domain – into the depths of sin – and become acquainted with all kinds of evil beliefs and lifestyles.
