HUSBANDS … MAYBE WON OVER / 1 PETER 3:1

(KJV) 1 Peter 3:1-2

 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; ² While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.

Peter instructs a Christian wife how to conduct herself in order to influence her husband to accept Christ. 

1. She must be submissive to her husband (willing to yield her own rights for his sake), recognizing his God-given role of leadership in the family and helping him to fulfill it. (Ephesians 5:22).
2. She must conduct herself in a pure and respectful manner, with a gentle and peaceful spirit (1 Peter 3:2-4; 1 Timothy 2:13, 15). 
3. She must attempt to influence her husband to accept and follow Christ more by her behavior than by her words.
