And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
GARDEN IN THE EAST, IN EDEN / GENESIS 2:8
The garden was located near the flood plain of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers (Genesis 2:14). Some believe it was located in what in now known as southern Iraq. Others feel that the Bible does not give enough information (Genesis 2:10-14) to determine a specific location.
