God intended for the sun, moon, and stars to serve as signs drawing humankind’s attention to Him. They also marked days, seasons, and years. Astrology, the study of stars and things in heaven and their influence of human activity, has twisted these intended purposes with the false theory that the stars and planets guide individuals’ lives.
